Ok....after a bit of chaos this weekend and a quick read of the BCS rules, here are my latest projections for the BCS Bowl Games:

Still think the Big East Champion is truly the bitch of the BCS, and Id bet the powers that be would have them face undefeated TCU if they could, but...they cant :)

Im excited at the prospect of Stanford vs Nebraska.

TCU matches up extremely well with Wisconsin.

Arkansas vs Ohio State, beside being just something I thought Id never see, would be a hell of a football game.

Cam Newton vs Auburn. Yeah....these would actually be BCS bowls Id be excited about.

Thank you Nevada.

People on the outside looking in:

Michigan State Spartans (11-1)
LSU Tigers (10-2)
Oklahoma State Cowboys (10-2)
Boise State Broncos (11-1)
Nevada Wolfpack (11-1)
Oklahoma Sooners (10-2)

All teams who would smoke UConn.

The big east sure is messing up the bcs this year. right now you got VT v the big east champion. not sure anybody in BE could compete wth VT and make an exciting bowl game. Maybe WV v VT would be the best just for rivalry reasons. IDK Big east needs TCU and ND to join in and then it would be more of a competitive conference. At least when it comes to bcs bowl games.

ok confused. who said anything abut Michigan? No way they beat a quality opponent in a big game. Like Auburn but with less talent they are a one man show. Teams have him figured out now and contain him. Good D line and keep him from running and make him throw the ball and it will be lopsided. Ohio st proved that one.

Well.... I have to disagree about VT and the Orange Bowl. I don't see VT getting away from FSU with a win. Even when VT goes around beating up everybody, they slip and fall to FSU.

Id love to see FSU win it, but I think Virginia Tech is just dialed in too well. This is far from the team that lost to Boise and James Madison.

OMG wow, do we need a sarcasm button for you Cerb????........the JOKE I was referring to is that Michigan opened the season with a win over UConn, who will likely play in a BCS game. Keep in mind, JOKE! This means that according to the BCS, RRod has a big win on his resume for his offseason evaluation. Michigan is terrible, this is no secret. Next time I have a comment I'll make sure to add in when there's sarcasm......

No button needed. Michigan comment just threw me off. Do you think you can go any more over board with an explaination tho?

LOL, i'm capable of going more, sure, but there's always that pesky line we have to toe that stops me......I was just really taken aback that a sarcastic comment that was so far out of realism could actually a)be construed by someone as serious, and b)actually merit a small paragraph rebuttal by said person stating obvious facts we all know.....no worries, glad that's all cleared up and you're on the straight-and-narrow now.......:)

I think you have it about right as of now....till someone goes and screws up some pretty good match-ups this week end.

OU/AU - will be fun as hell to watch! Defenses need not apply for this championship.
Wisc/TCU - Alright hornfrogs, let's see how you match-up! Wisc looks to be able to run on anyone and I do not believe TCU will be any different.
VT/UConn - OK, your bound to have a dud in there somewhere...pass....nothing that interests me there.
Ark/OSU - Love the match-up, should be a very entertaining game.
Neb/Stan - Another great match-up and a game I would love to watch.

4 of 5 GREAT match-ups. This would be the best set of BCS games in recent memory IMO.....which means one thing is certain.....someone will so something to fock it all up!

No dice. Ill trade you Gilbert and a WR of your choice for Robinson.

we dont need wideouts LOL, got PLENTY of guys who can do damage when the pass is in the vicinity of them, we need good secondary players and a coach that can scheme them, if you want DRob, you haveta give something up, and Gilbert = Tate LOL.......

Really looking forward to Wisky/TCU, I think that's the most intriguing game of all of em, and there should be some monsters.....
