Saints WRs always a tough nut to crack

Super overall production but playing Saints WRs can be one of the most frustrating problems for a fantasy owner.

Consider this: Moore saw only 33 snaps in Sunday's win in Jacksonville. Meanwhile, both Devery Henderson and Robert Meachem were each on the field for 62 plays, and Marques Colston saw only 20 snaps as he was on a limited "pitch count" coming back from injury, reports Jeff Duncan of the Times-Picayune. The Saints actually ran a season-high 81 plays, so this is slightly troubling news for Moore owners, especially since Colson will continue to see more plays as he recovers from a broken collarbone. While Moore was able to churn out five grabs for 50 yards, consider this as evidence of why it is difficult to start any Saints' WR on a weekly basis.

The one and only Saint WR to own is Moore.

I play the guessing game with the Saints WRs week to week and had projected Meachem to be the guy to start last week. This turned out to be mostly true but he dropped a 35yd TD pass. He had 6 targets and 4 catches. Henderson caught 0 passes and was targeted once. Colston, 3 targets, 1 Catch.

As coach stated, Moore was in for only 33 plays yet was targeted 6 times with 5 catches. Week 4 was NOT Moore's turn, it was Meachems but Moore was still brought in on critical plays. In other words, Moore is Bree's "Go To Guy".

For week 5, Meachem had his turn last week and blew it. Hard to tell with Colston (his turn is long over due but could still be rehabing) Colston WILL, however, get more tergets than last week. Henderson is up next and is the Saint to start week 5.

Moore? It's not his turn but if the game is close he will be used as needed. Against Carolina that means you shouldn't see much of him.

...but like PhiCin said. So far, you can't go wrong with Graham.

I agree on Moore. He has been Brees' favorite target for a while. I think the only week in week out starters are Moore and Graham.

add to the fact that sproles is playing the reggie bush role better than reggie ever did . . . i think that cuts into moore's production as well . . . i've got a different saint on 4 different teams . . . graham, meachem, moore and sproles . . . very happy with graham and sproles production . . . ;)
