Saints RB Reggie Bush has backed off of his No Paycut stand.

Reggie Bush is adamant that he wants to remain with the Saints this season. "I think (my) No. 1 priority is to stay with the Saints, restructure a deal where both sides are happy," Bush said. The fact that Bush is publicly amenable to restructuring his unreasonable 2011 salary of $11.8 should greatly bolster his chances of remaining in New Orleans. However, it's quite possible he and the Saints will not agree on just how large of a pay cut is in order.

That is the key. I think if he drops his price, they would be foolish to get rid of him. He is a heck of a weapon to team with Ingram, ala the days with McCallister.

If he will take a pay cut, the NO should keep him. He is very versatile when he is on the field. A discounted price will make up for him not playing a full season.

At a discount someone else would buy him. Taking a discount and staying in NO is best for Bush, but his ego will lead him elsewhere.

I don't think that there is any way that he stays in NO. Not when they drafted Ingram, Bush is better as a utility player. Plus isn't he owed $11million this year? Nobody is worth $11 million as a kick returner (with a few exceptions)

Uh...which is why he is talking about willing to take a pay cut to stay. Perhaps see the first post?
