He wouldn't do this, would he?

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Santonio Holmes was accused of attacking a woman with a glass in a Florida nightclub before "pressuring" her not to press charges, reports said Monday.
A lawsuit filed last week alleges that Holmes got into an argument with a woman at Rain Nightclub in Orlando and threw a glass of liquor at the woman’s face, causing a laceration near her eye.

(KFFL) Steelers.com reports the Pittsburgh Steelers issued a statement Tuesday, March 30, from team president Art Rooney II on the lawsuit of WR Santonio Holmes. "We are disappointed to learn about the recent incident involving Santonio Holmes in Florida. While we are continuing to gather the facts, I cannot comment further until we have more information and have spoken to Santonio and his representatives," Rooney said.

What is it about Florida that brings out the "crazy" in these guys?? Maybe it's the ratio of senior citizens to young hotties...... roughly 5:3?? Geez Louise. What happened to being a role model for the NFL's partner, the United Way? So.....it's only beneficial to be respectable to children....?

Have to say, I'm hoping the additional facts reveal that this incident isn't true as it's reported above. I've always been under the impression that Holmes had a strong moral fiber. But I've been wrong about men before.

Based on the Florida Population numbers for 2009, yeah it's THAT high. I didn't believe it either till I did the math.

Although we just spent the weekend in Pinellas county where I'm convinced it's more like 15:2 which balances out college towns like Tally, Gatorville and Miami. still....OUCH!

The criminal case involving Santonio Holmes and the woman suing him in civil court was closed after the woman declined to press charges. The two appeared to resolve their differences after holding a private discussion away from police.

I don't know if its the ratio as much as the climate, all the added heat doesn't help. Florida hotties wear less all year around and maintain themselves to a high standard as a result. MidWest hotties "winterize" adding more clothes, 15 lbs and stop shaving their legs during winter. It's the bear truth.

Watergate cover-up

If its true about Holmes attempted payoff sounds like he may be guilty

These high profile players need to grow up no matter what the "Hottie Ratio" is

True about the winterizing.... but I'm not sure I agree about the "hotties wear less" part. In Cali, the most of the chicks that wear less can afford to. But here, I'm seeing more than a few that seem to be in denial LOL.

You're right about the heat and humidity fo' sure!

A woman properly worked up to a incredible frenzy can glisten with a perfect sheen!

Sounds like a prime hunting ground for Coach

:duckhunt:

I have to defer to Rachelles' Hottie expertise. Being both a California Hottie and a Florida Hottie is one heck of a resume!

He's actually a FL native, unless my memory finally realized my age, so he's been crazy for a minute..

This incident is his 4th since '06. The other 3 times he was actually arrested, including weed possession in 2008. Moral fiber may not have ever been a strong suit, although after the super bowl when he was holding his kid might've provided a smoke screen of sorts.

You've been wrong about men?? Do tell! :)
