1. Antonio Brown (WR1) -- Has 152 catches & 2,039 yards in Ben's last 16 healthy games.
2. Odell Beckham (WR2) -- Beckham's receiving stats in his last 16 games: 108-1,635-14.
3. Julio Jones (WR3) -- Career average of 95.4 receiving yards/game is 1st in NFL history.
4. A.J. Green (WR4) -- Set up for career-best year w/o Marvin Jones & Mohamed Sanu.
5. Dez Bryant (WR5) -- Has finished WR3, WR6, and WR4 in his last 3 healthy seasons.
6. Allen Robinson (WR6) -- TDs (14) may regress, but catch total (80) has room to grow.
7. DeAndre Hopkins (WR7) -- Drew 112 targets in the first half of '15; 80 in second half.
8. Ezekiel Elliott (RB1) -- Complete back. NFL's best offensive line & weakest schedule.
9. David Johnson (RB2) -- Including playoffs, totaled 123.4 yards/game in rookie starts.
10. Todd Gurley (RB3) -- NFL's most talented back. Bad offense, limited receiving role.
11. Lamar Miller (RB4) -- HOU has ranked 1st, 5th in rushing attempts under Bill O'Brien.
12. Keenan Allen (WR8) -- Was on a 134-1,450-8 receiving pace before his Week 8 injury.

This is the first group of 12. Will list the next group when discussion here expires.

From my perspective, Julio is ranked much too high. Great WR who's best days are behind him. I don't even include him in this first 12 list.

Not sure Elliot should be the 1st back off the boards but not sure why. All signs point to a great season. Miller is no guarantee and Keenan Allen's name on this list just floors me.

What do y'all think?

Honestly, I don't like Julio, Green or Dez at those places. If Elliot is gonna be all that, then he goes 3rd. Robinson moves up to 4. Hopkins to 5. Now you can throw in Green and Dez.

LeVeon moves up from the next tier to replace Julio.

Heck, I like Amari better than Keenan and he's in the 3rd tier.

McCoy and Peterson are better (safer) picks than Miller, and I'm not ready to take David Johnson as the 2nd RB. Much rather have Gurley.

No arguments with 1-3.

As for the comments on Julio's best days being behind him.... Huh?

Kid is 27, in the prime of his career. Struggled (if you want to call it that) with some minor injuries last year and still finished as the #2 wr. I just can't see a reason to not like him in the top 3.

Bell not being the top back is a big miss IMO. Love Elliott's situation, but can't anoint a rookie as the top back, I just can't do it.

Bryant I agree with, I'd be hesitant of taking that high, Just can't seem to stay healthy for a full season. Maybe end of the top 12, beginning of the next.

In the air on Robinson a little, seen a lot of receivers with high TD to reception numbers crash back to reality when than 14 TD's becomes 9 the next yr. But still a lot of room to grow, so not sure where I am on him.

Agree with teckie on Allen, too much risk for me in the first. AP is a nice safe inclusion in the top 10.

Not sure I trust Miller that high either. But don't trust McCoy there either. Maybe Doug Martin? Freeman also lurks in that group, but I expect some regression with him.

I have no issue with AJ Green in the first, but see him more in 8 - 12 area and not top 5.

Nice topic!

I don't think Julio is over the foot injury 100% and I'm not keen on Ryan and the Atlanta passing game moving forward.

Not saying he's a bust but I put him behind Hopkins and Robinson. Not taking Dez in the first but if he's there in the 2nd I'm pouncing. Just a gut feel.

What have you read about the foot that makes you feel that? Curious, first I've heard this. Offseason is a long time to get your foot right..... Unless it's a chronic foot injury, which is why I'm curious.

There are no forecasts of Doom and Gloom for Julio. Sorry if I alarmed you.

Just that he's lost a step since the injury.

Alright... Yeah, I'm sticking with what I originally said then... Don't see finishing the season as the #2 receiver as reason for concern... I'll role with Julio

Good to hear a different take on him though.

Next 12:

13. Rob Gronkowski (TE1) -- 3 overall TE1 finishes in last 5 seasons. Pats WRs banged up.
14. Le'Veon Bell (RB5) -- Would be my No. 1 overall player if not for PCL/MCL recovery.
15. Alshon Jeffery (WR9) -- Alshon's receiving stats over his last 16 games: 95-1,314-11.
16. Jamaal Charles (RB6) -- On 1,731-total yard, 16-TD pace before October ACL tear.
17. Devonta Freeman (RB7) -- 5.3 YPC Weeks 3-7 last year. 3.3 in other 26 career games.
18. Adrian Peterson (RB8) -- Will be 31 1/2 in Week 1. Only 61 catches in last 31 games.
19. Brandin Cooks (WR10) -- Not yet 23. Was the PPR WR8 from Week 4 on last season.
20. Jordy Nelson (WR11) -- ACL reports positive. Last 3 healthy years: WR2, WR11, WR2.
21. Brandon Marshall (WR12) -- 32yo. Last three healthy seasons: WR2, WR5, WR3.
22. Mike Evans (WR13) -- Awful TD luck in '15. Still had 74 catches/1,206 yards at age 22.
23. Mark Ingram (RB9) -- The overall RB3 in PPR before his season ended in Week 13.
24. Eddie Lacy (RB10) -- Will Fat Ed bust again or bounce back? Betting on the latter.

I guess I just can't get on board with the trend to take elite WRs first. This second round is chock full of RBs that I would take ahead of most of the WRs in the first list.

I guess I should, though. Great RBs can absolutely carry your fantasy team to the play-offs but what are the chances they will last all season? By week 8, waiver wire RBs will be carrying many teams and the stud WRs will still be playing.

And where is Martin on this list? I take him before Lacy and Ingram.

Is Gronk STILL a justifiable pick over the likes of Bell and Peterson?

Okay, sorry, I am slow, but was pretty busy. Here is my take....
1-3 stays the same.
4) Elliot - he is a stud, and can catch as well as run. With that O-line and the dire need to keep Romo alive, they will run proficiently.
5) Robinson - Young stud Wr, with an improved O-line and a young Qb in Bortles that is only getting better and more experienced.
6) Hopkins - he will be wide open as teams focus on stopping the run
7) Green - he drops due to no real established receiver to pull coverage, Eifert will gain, but not enough to sniff this group
8) Gurley - run often run deep to protect rookie Qb
9) Bryant - he drops cause he simply can't stay healthy.
10) Lamar Miller - yup houston loves to run, and he will get the lions share
11) David Johnson - he has been phenominal, but his smaller stature worries me.
12) Gronkowski - still no Wrs and Brady will need his stud TE to catch tons of Tds

Okay well Gronk is gone so I already have issues(I have him at 12)
13) Bell - if he can stay healthy and be recovered, he is a stud
14) Peterson - they have Wrs now, which only helps him more
15) Freeman - I think he only gets better and they need him, desperately.
16) Jordy Nelson - he is the GB offense, when he is gone they struggle, and he should be healthy
17) Marshall - yeah he is older, but all he does is produce, regardless of who his Qb is
18) Charles - if he is healthy, he will be awesome, but they have depth, so will lose carries now.
19) Cooks - will be leading wr for pass happy crew
20) Jeffrey - not sure they will be so pass happy, will want to run with young rbs.
21) Ingram - will be used alot
22) Evans - he is the man now, so he has to perform for his young Qb
23) Lacy - not sure he is all that, and if he stumbles he won't get many chances
24) K. Allen - I just don't trust him, nor really any Wr in SD.

What's not to like about Julio? Great receiver in a great situation, caught 136 balls last year and finished strong going over 100 yds in each of the last 3 games... the guy is easily in the top 3 WRs IMO.
Agreed. Dude is a total beast, has literally no competition for targets, and an above avg QB to get him the ball. Plays 70% of his games in a dome
