It means Pierre Thomas will be drafted earlier then expected!

This is interesting. I have been looking at grabbing Bush in most drafts but apparently so has others. I haven't been able to get him, maybe that is a good thing after all.

I feel the same way you do Coach. I've been targeting him, kind of hoping he falls to me. With someone like Bush though, with his injuries, he's like the last guy on my boards that I would ever reach for. This just solidifies that.

Who should I keep: Reggie Bush or DeSean Jackson? With this news I am leaning towards Jackson as I already have Gore, C. Johnson, & Slaton at RB while my WR corps currently has Wayne, Edwards, & Roy Williams.

Bush indicated that he is fine and that he is simply keeping up with a training camp regimen of resting every now and then. For his part, coach Sean Payton said he is not "worried one bit" and if this were the regular season, Bush would be available for weekend action.

Bush leaves practice with knee injury
Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on August 5, 2009 1:00 PM ET
If you don't like the latest report on Reggie Bush's knee, we suggest waiting half a day for it to change.

Bush was unable to his finish his scheduled one practice a day Wednesday. He later returned with a slight limp and his knee wrapped in ice.

While the Saints say they aren't concerned with Bush's knee, perhaps they should be. It's not a great sign when he can't finish practices consistently.

This is a chronic knee problem, and the team was concerned enough to have Bush undergo an MRI two days ago, according to WDSU in New Orleans.

Bush said after practice he's "fine."

While we don't want to overstate the importance of minor camp injuries, Bush's struggles will serve to make the Saints cautious about overworking him.

Pierre Thomas is expected to lead the Saints in carries this season and it may not be close if Bush continues to show he can't handle a big workload.
