Reggie Bush appears to on the roster bubble with the Saints. There has been a little speculation that he might be traded but I don't think it will happen. The main reason Bush will be let go is he is due $7 million dollars and his contract would have to be reworked to be more friendly to the other team. Right now I don't think any team deals for him because they realize that Bush will be dropped and why give up any picks when all you have to do is outbid the other teams for his services to get him. I would speculate that his market value would be around $ 3-4 million. but it may end up being even cheaper if the new CBA makes every 4 year guy an unrestricted player. This year may have a glut of good free agents out there and teams willing to play the free agent market could see better prices as well as better talent that they can add to their team.
So, let's just assume that Reggie Bush goes on the market and ends up being available for decent backup running back pricing. Does your team need him?? How would you envision him helping your team. For example, look at a team like the Falcons, Norwood always banged up as a #2 every year, shows flashes but always injured for a large part of the year. Snelling looked good but started to get dinged up also as his workload increased. maybe a Reggie Bush would be a nice addition to that puzzle.
So Let the homer in you flow and tell us if your team got Reggie Bush would that be a good thing?
