Jamison Hensley, of The Baltimore Sun, reports Baltimore Ravens FB Le'Ron McClain is saying all of the right things regarding his shift back to a more traditional fullback role. However, Hensley is hearing that McClain is unhappy with the potential reduced carries.

It sucks that Lorenzo Neal is gone, for this reason. Even if his carry total is reduced, McClain will still have the potential to be a goalline vulture. I don't think that the other backs can pick up the load and carry the ground game like McClain did last season. That's going to be a RBBC....plus McGahee sucks...he gets injured all the time, just had surgery on his ankle. It's going to be the Ray Rice and LeRon McClain show.

At this point I find it encouraging that they are keeping him on the field. I agree with GBG that the team will be utilizing him even if he isn't the featured back.

I think I posted in a different thread that Cedric Peerman could very well make McGahee expendable before too long, if given the chance.

On the McClain front, he may start posting Alstott-like stats if they stay in the big backfield sets alot.
