Rate My Team....Advice if Needed

Here's what I drafted for the first league I'm in. Kind of did this on the fly so let me know if I need to make some changes at a position. I usually research prior but work got in the way. Its only a 6-team league w/basic scoring. Commish is allowing free drops/adds/trades until game 1.

D Owens I worry about Owen and his knees. Often cut on and the stress fracture in the kneecap that some doctors said needed a screw and would have cost him the season if the extra cut would have been made caused me to pass on him tonight in my draft.

Any sleepers to look at for WR's and possible RB's? I know it might be to early to tell right now.

In a 6 team league with 15 players there has to be some WR's with upside/value available. I'd get a replacement for V Jackson.

well with 6 teams there should be players available everywhere which is the good thing.

QB: Below average IMO. Brady is in the top 6, but towards the end. Eli is in that next 6, but again, in the 10-12 range. Not much to do, they are both solid, but your not getting an advantage there.

RB: Gore makes a fine 1 and Mendy & Stewart are nice, but still, with 6 teams I would have thought this could look better. I like Maroney more than about anyone I know this year.....but he should not be on your roster, there are better options on the WW I am sure. Go find one.

WR: Fitz is a bottom line #1 with 6 teams, Boldin bottom tier #2 and COC bottom tier #3.....all solid, but again, no advantages there. Jackson??? in a 6 team league? Cut him loose and find you a receiver that is going to play. WW has to have some nice talent there.

TE: With the way the rest of this team looks I would have thought you would have a top end TE....nope, Daniels coming off injury could be a sleeper and would be a nice b/u but not a starter. Shian is solid, but not in a 6 team league. This duo is below average.

D: Solid

K: has to be a better on with only 6 teams

Overall, not to be too harsh, but you have some WORK to do. I have a feeling if we looked at all 6 rosters this is going to rank 5th or 6th.

Thanks guys. I kinda felt the same about my lineup but needed some assurance. Okay here's the top players on the waiver right now (Yahoo ranked) at each position. Luckily we have FREE adds/drops till game 1 so can make changes with no hits on my pocket right now.

Would Jacobs or Bradshaw be an upgrade to any of my backs? They are available on the waiver. I recently dropped Maroney for Moreno as well.

Yup, Bradshaw is the #1 in NY.

Grab Crabtree or Sims-Walker and fast.

Shiancoe is a fine TE, but I'd swap Olsen for Cooley.

Come on, Gore is a stud. Fitzy ain't bad either.

Really need two defenses? In a 6-team league I'd keep Baltimore and dump the other for a player you can really use week in and week out. Or Dallas, your choice. That will get you a free player.

Tom Brady is good enough. Why do you need Eli? Heck, 5 weeks from now pick up Roethlisberger. So there's another player.

I would drop Daniels, Vjax, Eli Manning and Baltimore or Dallas for:

Crabtree, Harvin, Forte, and Big Ben(he is back week 5)

You dont need two TE's or Defenses esp. in a league this shallow, bye week replacements will work and you can drop a RB/WR who is not doing it for you this season

You make a point. I drop Dallas for Crabtree, Vjax for Harvin, and Manning for Big Ben. Should I drop Daniels for Forte for Bradshaw or Jacobs?

Yes to the first 3....and its a tough choice between ahmad bradshaw and forte....I think you need to go with your gut on that one...bradshaw might have a little more upside since its not ppr.
