The stats don't tell the tale though, if you're just comparing Dayne to D-Mac in college. As I stated earlier, McFadden did what he did against borderline NFL-caliber defenses, plus shared backfield touches with Felix and Matt Jones. Dayne was a 1-man show who was fed carries in a heavy running system against lesser competition. There's alot of guys who had better career stat lines than D-Mac, which is not my point. He was just so uber-athletic that I find it hard to accept his relative lack of production thus far to be all his fault.
