Quinn, Tebow, and Orton

I feel that we mostly agree that Quinn isn't much but what about Tebow? Is he a NFL QB that you can build your frachise around? I don't think so.

Only time will tell on that. With the heart that Tebow has and his passion for the game, i see no reason he can't succeed. Making him a pocket qb will be the hardest thing. Running qbs have short careers.

rotoworld,
Tim Tebow has shown improved arm strength and velocity after changing his delivery this offseason.

"No issues, none at all in terms of his arm strength, velocity, anything like that," coach Josh McDaniels said. Beat writer Frank Schwab agrees with that assessment, but he noted that Tebow's accuracy remained an issue in Friday's practice. That should improve once he gets comfortable with his reads.

Reports are out that they cut Bradenstarter or whatever his name is. So I think Quinn, Tebow and Orton are locked.

(RotoWire) Orton continues to be at the top of the Broncos' quarterback depth chart, but the real competition should begin in earnest during training camp where he will heavily compete with Brady Quinn, the Denver Post reports. Analysis: Head coach Josh McDaniels continues to say that Orton is his starting quarterback, but he also made it clear that he will give Brady Quinn a chance to take over the starting job in Denver. While rookie Tim Tebow will be able to compete, it is highly unlikely that he will jump passed Orton and Quinn on the depth chart by opening day.

(RotoWire) Quinn is still listed as the #2 quarterback for the Broncos, but he will get every chance to compete for the starting job once training camp begins, the DenverPost reports. Analysis: Quinn has impressed the coaching staff throughout voluntary workouts and the team's passing camp, but he hasn't quite done enough to unseat Orton yet. While Orton continues to get the nod as the starter from head coach Josh McDaniels, Quinn will be given every opportunity to prove that he should start for the Broncos. Rookie Tim Tebow may see the field a little this season, but it would be highly surprising if he started over Orton and Quinn.

rotoworld,
Coach Josh McDaniels is leaning toward keeping only two quarterbacks active on game days this season.

Activating a third QB would "put us behind the eight ball at other spots," explained McDaniels. The Broncos will want Tim Tebow active for situational work, so Brady Quinn will likely be the odd man out.

rotoworld,
Kyle Orton has been declared the starting quarterback for the Broncos.

"He is the starter, no doubt," coach Josh McDaniels said. With a year in McDaniels' quick-read system, Orton has been head and shoulders above Brady Quinn and Tim Tebow in offseason practices. He'll have more job security than expected going into training camp, but the loss of Brandon Marshall should temper fantasy expectations. He could also lose situational red-zone snaps to Tim Tebow throughout the season.
