QBs in redraft next year

Coming at you
I used to be a QB late kind of guy in redraft but have switched directions the last couple years and taken top QBs (Rodgers) with my first pick. It has worked out well and the teams that have waited on QBs have generally suffered. Some exceptions but the Rodgers, Brees and Brady teams have excelled.

Looking to next year however, I might be tempted to play the waiting game a bit as there will be incredible depth:

Rodgers
Brady
Brees
Peyton
RG3
Luck
Ryan
Cam
Stafford

9 guys I would feel comfortable with as a consistent performer.

Romo
Eli
Dalton
Rivers
Freeman

Guys who have had excellent fantasy seasons past and I would feel comfortable with a combination of the two.

Just some food for thought. I know I will be waiting on a QB in FFPC next year. Would be happy with any of the top 9, except for Newton, just because I can't stand him as a real QB and would be hard for me to root for him at any level, despite the fact that he is an excellent fantasy QB due to his internal need to have all the glory.

Yep, I too in the past was a waiter for Qb, and in a few leagues have gone Qb very early. To me it depends on when you draft. If I am top I go top rb, if I am bottom...tend to go Wr/Wr, especially if ppr.

But if I am in the middle of the round, then I have looked Qb and sometimes its worked sometimes it has not.

But next year, with all the talent there, I agree, you can wait and do very well.

Love seeing the depth for the future myself because i am one of those who waits till 4-7th rd to get a QB but have fared well but like you said E that the ones typically with a rodgers or breess have always finished near the top. Got lucky last year and finished 1st in my money league riding tebow for the second half of the year beacuse I drafted freeman as my first QB
