QB Training Camp Battles to watch

Wilson could be steal of the year, he was very good in Wisconsin, and is mobile enough to get out of trouble. I loved him, and think Seattle will to.

Holy cow!! I have NFL network now on my cable!! Woohoo!! I can watch those games I missed. I LOVE my new cable service!!

So we were all wrong on the Dolphins situation. Guess Moore is not the man. I like the idea of starting the rookie off the bat. Was happy as long as it wasn't Garrard.

Well at least PhiCin nor myself has to smile about the outcome in Miami.

Plus I drafted the kid a couple of days ago.

wonder what happens with Qb situation in Miami. Garrard is hurt, but by all reports he was leading the competition. So do they keep him, and let Moore go? Devlin is there as well, and has shown some flashes. Can't wait to see how this goes.

I read somewhere that an injury settlement with Garrard wouldn't cost the Fish a whole lot of money and the speculation in the article was that was the route the club would take.

I just watched the episode on HBO about cutting Chad and his injury. Sounded like that wasn't what they wanted, and they really, really liked him on the field and in the locker room.

The Miami Herald expects the Dolphins to keep Matt Moore over David Garrard.
The Dolphins are up against the salary cap, and Garrard packs a bigger monetary hit than Moore. Per beat writer Armando Salguero, Garrard is also "not exactly ahead of schedule" in his rehab from knee surgery. Those factors coupled with Moore's competent play down the stretch last season make him the heavy favorite to keep his roster spot and back-up rookie Ryan Tannehill.

MFL "My Player News"
(Rotoworld) Sources tell ESPN.com that a strong performance from Russell Wilson in Friday's third preseason game could elevate him to Week 1 starter.
Analysis: Wilson and the rest of the Seahawks' starters are expected to play at least the first half against the Chiefs Friday. The third-round rookie has earned the chance by going 22-of-33 for 279 yards with three touchdowns and one interception through two preseason games -- all while playing with shoddy pass protection on the second- and third-team. Coach Pete Carroll is taking his decision right down to the wire. "We're going to wait after the game and see what happened and see what it feels like and talk it all out and see everything you can possibly see in analyzing it and move ahead with confidence," he said.

Drat, I missed the game. Thought it was today. Looks like Wilson was very impressive against the Chiefs. 2TDs, 3 FGs, and a missed FG in his 7 possesions

Granted it was the Chiefs, but I was damned impressed. He looked great, and very mobile. I like this kid alot, so I am probably biased.
