QB Tim Tebow taking most of Broncos 1st Team Snaps

Tim Tebow is getting more snaps at practice with starter Kyle Orton nursing bruised ribs and the rookie might even get his first extended action of the season when the Denver Broncos visit the Oakland Raiders this weekend.

Orton sat out practice Wednesday and interim coach Eric Studesville met with quarterbacks coach Ben McDaniels to determine how much, if any, he'll be able to participate in Thursday's practice.

In his absence, Tebow has been taking the bulk of the snaps with third quarterback Brady Quinn getting some work, too.

Tebow, who former coach Josh McDaniels selected in the first round of the draft, has made only cameo appearances this season and thrown just one pass so far, a 3-yard TD toss to Spencer Larsen against the Kansas City Chiefs on Oct. 14.

Unreal. In EC's 2 QB league, I've been rolling like Patton all season with Rodgers and Orton. Now I might have Flynn and Tebow.

Can you imagine all the buildup towards the gunfight at the OK Corral... only to blindfold the Earps at the last minute? Yeah, it's like that.

I hope Tebow can pass. All I've ever seen is him tuck the ball and run. That dog won't hunt in the ENN EFF ELL

Tebow should be fine. He's playing Oakland and that D faced a similar QB in Gerrard last week with the exception being Gerrard is more exp but Tebow is younger. I like what Denver is doing here. They are evaluating their QB talent and making decisions for the offseason draft . Something alot of other teams should be doing now.

Flynn will have a tougher time against NE. And with GB Defence, NE will roll all over them , giving Flynn plenty off passing practice.

I said "should" not "will". Tebow is an athlete and has skills, now if he has somebody to throw or hand off to will make him successful or not. Not a denver fan so don't know off hand.

Should be or will be, im still :biglaugh:

I hope the Raider game is sold out but i doubt it so it will be televised
