Cousins first visit is to be with the Vikes. Jets said to be looking at Bridgewater when they miss out on Cousins.

You know who is totally quiet right now? Arizona. They desperately need a Qb. Now that Brees has re-signed, Keenum is going to Denver, and Cousins looks out of reach...I wonder if they go all in on rookie and trade up...or sign a Bridgewater or McCarron and then draft Qb later.

To a three-year contract.

The deal is believed to be for around $86 million, and ESPN's Adam Schefter reports it will be fully-guaranteed, a landmark for an NFL free agent.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports free agent Mike Glennon is on the Cardinals' radar. Poor Fitz!

So again...what does Arizona do? Jets? Buffalo?

Bradford is out there, but knee is degenerative per Minnesota
McCarron is out there, but he is as unproven as a rookie
Bridgewater is out there, but there are still some lingering questions on the knee from what I have read
McCown - great idea for a back up or bridge Qb

All of your ideas sound better than what Ian is reporting.
I will say in Glennon's only defense, they had no real tools to work with for him. The Wrs crapped out....but still he was AWFUL playing in those games.

Buffalo must be going all in on Rookie Qb?!?!?!
Per PFT, Buffalo has started negotiating with top 5 draft teams looking to move up. To get their Qb.

This should be fun to watch. Giants could make a killing and move down. If I were Indy "I" would be calling Buffalo as they need a ton of help.

Jan 24 Projections

Present QB Contracts: Stafford $26.5, Carr $25, Flacco $24.7, Luck $24.4, Wilson $23.8

FA projected QB ~ $$:
Cousins $29 ($28.8/yr Vikings, 3yrs)
Garoppolo $26 ($27.5/yr 49ers, 5yrs)
Brees $26 ($25/yr Saints, 2yrs) is the $50mil new $$ or total ??
Keenum $15 $14.5 ?? Den
Bradford $13 $20 Ari
Bridgewater $12
McCown $10 $10 Jets

Brees is tough to guess, it is an $18mil cap hit if they don't resign him or $6mil + whatever they sign for

There will prolly be a couple renegotiations this year. Will we see the 1st $30mil QB ??

Will someone please tell J.Schnieder I am looking for a job

Betting on himself like Dion used to. All short term deals

I have always wondered why more QBs don't do that since the way QBs are protected now, the risk of a career ending injury is less than in the past. 3 years, almost 90 million. Christ, even if he does suffer a career ending injury, his financial future is set. Now he can take advantage of the cap increases in 3 years.
