have been reading alot of sites, and the expectations of where Qbs will go.....
Arizona - Looks like Kolb is the lead option there. Per Sheffter at ESPN and others, they will run hard at Kolb. Fall back may be Orton of Denver, where they have just started doing some feel out if he is available.
Seattle - They will be in the Kolb hunt supposedly. A Hasselbeck re-sign is still possible as well. Although, rumors are floating they may be willing to live with Whitehurst this year, and draft the Qb of the future next year when the draft is deeper. Consistant rumors of Palmer here as well, but I just don't see Brown changing his stripes and dealing Palmer.
Miami - totally lost here. They hate Henne, they love Henne, they hate Henne. I hear they want Palmer very, very badly. Again, not sure he will be dealt. My gut says they look for a vet, but not sure anyone available fits their needs. I think this time they may stay pat.
Minnesota - Yes, they drafted Ponder. Yes Leslie says he is wanting Ponder to start. Now, can we get back to reality? I think this is the best spot for a short term Vet. Hasselbeck or McNabb would be a great fit here, for a transitional Qb. Rumors are flying that McNabb is set to be in Minny as soon as he is released by Washington.
Speaking of which - Washington - Well, you have to assume McNabb is gone. That leaves sexy rexy :xpuke: . Of the Qbs available, a deal with Denver for Orton seems to make sense. Hass is a possibility. No way Eagles deal Kolb to Washington, as they gave them McNabb since they knew he sucked and they know Kolb doesn't. I wonder if they make a deal with NE for Mallett? Or take a try at a Qb like Young? This one is a total baffle to me.
Cincinnati - well they drafted Dalton, and the chance for him to start is there. I do think Palmer will be retired, as I don't see the Bengals dealing him. So going out for a solid back up type vet or temp starter is there. Just don't see them spending big bucks with money tied up in Dalton and Palmer. Only time will tell.
Buffalo - :dunno: This is another stumper to me. They like Fitz, I get that. But they know he isn't long term solution. Do they wait til next year? They could have a shot at Luck there. Or do they try to get a Young to possibly rebuild with like Eagles and Vick?
Any others of note?
Qb moves expected -
Washington cuts McNabb - goes to Minny
Tennessee will cut Young
Denver will deal Orton - live with Tebow as starter, Quinn as backup
Flynn of G.B. will not be dealt.
