Ridley owners take heart, just reported that Vereen has a broken bone in his wrist, is having surgery and will be out 4-6 weeks.

White admits his ankle injury is a high ankle sprain, and won't be back to "normal" for a while.

Dez has a sprained foot. X-rays were negative but an MRI is likely coming. Expect him to be questionable at best for week 2.

Coming at you
I wouldn't waste my time if I were you. 7 carries for 15 yards and no targets in the passing game. Blount is worthless. I bet Ridley served his little one game ban and comes back full force

Not worthless, especially if Ridley puts the ball on the ground again.

Not a fan of Blount at all but he has some skills and Belichect hates fumblers................

Just making a ball-job analogy. Ridley will have to secure one if he wants to secure the other.

To be fair, 9 other RBs fumbled this weekend, and 2 of them actually lost 2 fumbles. Ridley put it on the ground twice as well, but NE recovered one of them.

The other dudes fumbling weren't all chumps either. Morris lost one and I believe dropped another that Wash picked up. Doug Martin and CJ Spiller both fumbled too.

Ridley has a career 5 fumbles on 377 carries before Sunday. Only 2 of them were lost. His week 1 performance certainly wasn't on par with his career numbers

Not disagreeing with you, I think Ridley will be starter and used heavily next week. That being said though, if he fumbles one or more next week, Belichek will bench his ass for good. He is that vindictive

Yep PhiCin and ER he'll be right back in the starting backfield this week but as PhiCin said he'd better not put the ball on the ground again Sunday.
