Post superbowl, and NFL draft news

Per PFT and other sources - Cost for Denver to get Flacco was the higher of their two 4th round picks(their own).
Per other sources - Denver first looked at getting Foles from Philly, but salary was better for Flacco(my guess is cost in picks was also better).
 
- per multiple sources the NFL and Kaepernick and Reid have settled their collusion case - per reports there is a CDA so no details are to be released - some speculate it could include a clause that keeps Kaepernick out of the NFL, and also resolves the drug testing complaint by Reid.
- Buffalo cuts Te Charles Clay - $4.5 million cap savings
- LA Chargers re-sign Cb Jaylen Watkins - was injured all last year.
 
Looks like drama will unfold all off season in Pittsburgh. Rotoworld saying they will tag Bell again, Brown meeting with Rooney but likely not repairable.

Would be best for all involved to end it but Pittsburgh wants to get something back for the two divas.

No way they can FT Bell, at best all they could do is transition tag him. Even then, per some sites, that goes against the CBA as they have no intention of keeping him and are only doing it for trade value or pick value.

- Ingram Rb N.O. has stated he wants to say in N.O. and N.O. says they want him, but they have to meet on money - he also said he has career goals of 10,000 total yards rushing and wants a championship.
- Landin Collins S NYG - has still had no talks on new contract - some think team will FT him
- Antonio Brown seems to be on a mission to get booted from Pittsburgh - and he is also chasing off potential teams to trade for him - stating in his last video he wants guaranteed money.
- Rumors of 49ers trying to get OBJ from the Giants is back again. - per reports they made a run last year and didn't get it done, but with the #2 overall this year a deal may work out.
- Derrius Guice Rb Washington is progressing in his rehab - he has video posting of him sprinting at full speed.
- Supposedly Washington was really trying to get Flacco before trade with Denver was concluded - sure sounds like a team worried about A.Smith being ready......
- Kyler Murray sending out mixed signals again - he is supposedly all in on football, but now hedging on throwing at the combine.
 
Per reports - Steelers and Antonio Brown have met, and the team has agreed it would attempt to trade Brown. They have NOT given permission for him or his agent to talk to other teams though. Evidently Rooney couldn't get him to shut up ;)
 
so looking at things, I think the following are most likely destinations:

Indy - tons of cap space and AB could elevate then to elite contender status. really hope he goes here.
Cle - would be great for baker pairing with Landry and Njoku, but Pitt would not want to trade him within the division
Jets - lots of space and need a #1 WR badly. Good for darnold. But in the conference.
SF - out of conference, has cap space and the need.
 
Pittsburgh has confirmed it will NOT use any tags on Le'Veon Bell this year - he will be a UFA at start of season - will still get a pretty good compensatory pick though
 
the comp pick will depend on who else they choose to sign in free agency. Bell will add a decent amount to one side of the ledger though.

Miami has hired former GM Reggie McKenzie of Oakland to be senior personnel executive reporting to GM in Miami
Per latest report - Tampa bay will be keeping Gerald McCoy DT and not trading or releasing for cap help

Quick update until I can dig into stories:
Randy Gregory DE Dallas has been suspended again indefinately for violation of the drug policy. This is his 4th suspension.
Dallas also will NOT be offering anything to Irving DE - he also may be facing a suspension per rumors
