If you know me, you know that i screwed up and signed portis to a long term deal in 2009 in the Hired Guns league, I can now finally drop him!!! Heck yes!

actually, in our league it does not matter. Once his paperwork is filed and the retirement is made official, we allow teams to drop players with no salary cap hit. HOwever, if he resigns and comes back, he is a UFA
