Hey COC is a good guy...he doesn't deserve this kind of malicious and childish challenge.

A little social media spat broke out Monday. If anything actually comes out of it, there will be a far better, far realer spat. Ravens safety and cruiserweight boxer Tom Zbikowski told the Dan Patrick Show that the non-teammate he’d most like to face in the ring is Chad Ochocinco. “(Chad) Ochocinco talks like he can box,” Zbikowski said. “I’d let it go … for about 45 seconds. I’d let him know what a real jab feels like.”

Naturally, Ochocinco got wind of this and took to Twitter.

“You wana go nite nite, you want to box me,” Ocho tweeted. “for 1 your feet are to slow and you’ve no hand speed to even be competitive.”

Zbikowski somehow deciphered enough of the tweet to realize that Ochocinco was claiming he could outbox the former Golden Glover. So, Zbikowski called the bluff via Facebook.

“Dear Ocho Cinco . . . thanks for following my career . . . You and me at M&T Bank Stadium, charity four-round boxing match. You wear Orange and Black and I will wear Purple and black. If we do it in May, that should give you enough time to get ready . . . You game?”

If Ochocinco is game, you can expect to see a pile of gold teeth on the mat within 15 seconds (or 45, if Zbikowski stays true to his word).

Sure seems to me that the "boxer" ran his mouth first.

Also for clerical info....

Boxing

On June 10, 2006, Zbikowski made his professional boxing debut at Madison Square Garden in New York City, beating his opponent, Robert Bell of Akron, Ohio, by TKO within 49 seconds of the first round. The fight was compliant with NCAA guidelines.[citation needed] Bell, who is an Ohio State fan, wore an Ohio State football jersey into the ring. He signed a three fight contract and has one fight left. Zbikowski boxed a three round exhibition fight against Ryan St. Germaine on March 2, 2007 at the Belterra Casino & Resort, Belterra. After the 2008 NFL season he decided to put his boxing career on hold to focus on football.

He will return to the ring for a bout for the first time since 2007 on March 12, 2011 in Las Vegas against 1-2 35 year-old Richard Bryant due to the NFL labor contract discord.[1]

Wow...guy gets lucky in his first fight...second is a three round exhibition...and has waited 4 years to do it again.

Golden Glove fighter with a record of 75-15 I believe....

COC ran his mouth now lets see if he can back it up......

Talk the talk, you better be able to walk the walk....

He was asked a question and answered it, COC couldn't leave it alone and now we will see if he has the nuts to back it up....

Woo...he was the best of the amateurs. Only reason this is getting ANY coverage is because he used Ocho's name...if he said Steve Slaton or some other name no one cares about then this wouldn't even be news worthy.

umm.....COC responded to being called out by a back-up safety....get your facts straight. Chad didn't start this. Zibby called him out and he responded. Zibby may want to pay more attention to football then celebrity boxing.....on second thought, hell he may be a better boxer than football player so maybe this is a good route for him since this or getting burnt is the only way anyone is going to notice him.

Now other than misguided claims by mutts here.....this would be funny, and there is no doubt Zibby would smoke him.....at least he better, hell, he's fought like 100 times....

Chad getting KO'd would actually be good for his ego.

Now the fight itself would be funny...but i think chad would last at least between one and a half to two and a half minutes.
