.....What are your thoughts? I'm going to watch it on tv tonight and i know it's only preseason. And i don't put much into preseason games but last week against Washington, Pitt looked kinda Notre Damish. They never looked in sync and always looked like thye had a play that was going to bust the game wide open but never did. Defense looked good, even the 2nd/3rd stringers played well. But the offense was nothing to brag about. Yes Big Ben was out but they should have played offensively better than they did. So next up is Buffalo, I'm really interested to see if Pitt rebounds and see TO play. I don't care for the guy but his antics are entertaining to watch. And i only give it 3-4 games before TO starts his whining again , like he does everywhere else he has played.

I must admit, I'll be paying the most attention to Buffalo's offense than anything else (luckily Pitt's D will be on the field too, so I get to watch both!). One person in particular: Andy Levitre. Holy crap has he sucked so far this preseason? I've watched him very closely, waiting for him to improve. Thank God! He doesn't stand up as much anymore! If I'm a D Coord, I'm blitzing that rookie all night long. He easily gets blown off of the ball.
The reason he'll need to be watched, is because if he's targeted (like he should be), Pitt's D will look better than they actually are. Now, don't take that the wrong way, I'm in no way saying they're not good, hell they're great. But like you said, they weren't all that impressive last week against the Skins. Will be interesting to see if it was just cobwebs in need of a good shaking or not.
