Philadelphia QB Situation

Could Arizona be looking better for McNabb? If Anquan Boldin is being shopped, Antrel Rolle , Karlos Dansby, Lyle Sendlein and a second rounder. We give up McNabb, Kevin Curtis, Chris Gocong, and a 4th & two 5th round picks. We would get at the least 3 starters, with a possible fourth in Sendlein. We still can use the picks for good lineman on both side of the ball. The Cardinals get their QB, another smart WR and a DE that fits their system, two more picks that they could package or use.

Won't happen. Arizona is saying they will go with Leinart.

Latest rumors I have heard is St. Louis is after McNabb, not Vick

so what's the deal with Vick? I heard they are picking up the 5 mil bonus. They are not seriously going to have all 3 back next year are they? 3 QB's....who all feel they should be a starter....hmmmm....doesn't sound like a recipe for great chemistry.

Just was listening to Mike and Mike on ESPN radio. they had on Schefter.

Yes, the Eagles plan to pay Vick's bonus. They are also willing to pay his salary. Bonus is $1.5 million. Salary plus bonus if $5.0 million I believe.

My guess is three fold here.

One: they have a higher value opinion on Vick, and want to drive up the price. Plus the cap free year allows them to do this with no issue, since both his and McNabb's contract are done after this year.

Two: They do plan to deal McNabb, and want him for back up and change of pace for Kolb.

Three: They deal Kolb ( have heard some teams have asked on him....) and want Vick to back up McNabb.

Personally, I can't see them keeping all three. My guess is once an extension is done on Kolb....one will get dealt

Maybe they think Vick is worth more than they are getting offered for him from other teams. This way, if he plays well, they can get more for him next year. Just a thought.

I was immediately thinking "sign & trade" as even 5 mill is reasonable in an uncapped year if someone still views Vick as a starter. I would also assume that the trade return would be better for Kolb due to his age and pricetag, and I had heard that more teams were inquiring about him than the other 2.
