We are just over one week away, so lets see what we think has changed.
1) Tennessee Titans(QB, Edge rush, WR, LB,S) - Cam Ward QB Miami - Same as last mock, and I think this is locked in stone.
2) Cleveland Browns(QB, OL, Edge rush, RB, S) - Abdul Carter Edge rush Penn State - This is a change. They went and got Flacco, and between him and Pickett they are okay at QB. I do think they go QB later maybe with the 2nd rd pick, but it will be for development.
3) New York Giants(QB, OL, LB, CB, DL) - Travis Hunter WR/CB Colorado - He has incredible talent, but I think they focus him at CB this year, and use him some on offense as well, but not a full time both ways.
4) New England Patriots(OL, DL, WR, RB, TE) - Will Campbell OT/OG LSU - This is Patriots biggest need. And regardless of some negatives on his arm length, this kid will solidify one side of the line.
5) Jacksonville Jaguars(DL, CB, S, OL, WR) - Mason Graham DT Michigan - Same as last mock. This team needs to rebuild both lines.
6) Las Vegas Raiders(RB, WR, CB, OL, LB ) - Ashton Jeanty RB Boise State - I am leaving this, but Shedeur Sanders here might make sense. However, as Raiders have extended Geno, they need offensive tools and WR value isn't here. TE was a real consideration here as well, but they are set at TE.
7) New York Jets(OL, WR, TE, S, DL) - Armand Membou OT Missouri - This is a change, OL has to be addressed and they need to protect Fields and open holes for running game.
8) Carolina Panthers(Edge rush, S, CB, WR, DL) - Jalon Walker Edge rush/LB Georgia - Stays the same, BUT.... This could be a HUGE trade spot. Everyone now knows that Saints have to go QB next, or at least plan to. So a team that maybe loves Sanders may make a move here. IMO though, I don't think Sanders is worth the move up. Just me.
9) New Orleans Saints(CB, OL, WR, DL, QB) - Shedeur Sanders QB Colorado - This is new, and a must for Saints. Carr is "hurt" or at least wants out. Time for new blood, and while I usually suggest teams build OL and DL and then get QB, they don't have a choice here as they are cap strapped. Take Sanders, hope Olave is okay, and then trade for cap help down the line any solid vet they can.
10) Chicago Bears(OL, Edge rush, RB, S, TE) - Kelvin Banks Jr OT Texas - Same position, but different player. OL is the major need, other than DL.
11) San Francisco 49ers(DL, Edge rush, OL, RB, CB) - Mike Green Edge rush Marshall - Need to rebuild the D Line, so a change here vs. mock #1
12) Dallas Cowboys(WR, RB, CB, LB, DL) - Tetairoa McMillan WR Arizona - Leaving this, although would not be shocked to see some other WR like Golden. But Dallas goes for flash.
13) Miami Dolphins(OL, DL, S, CB, TE) - Jahdae Barron CB/S Texas - This to is unchanged, especially since they are letting Jalen Ramsey seek a trade. WR is also a thought as I hear rumors again of trading Tyreek Hill as well.
14) Indianapolis Colts(TE, OL, LB, Edge rush, RB) - Tyler Warren TE Penn State - This is a change, and time to give the QBs a real target at TE to develop with.
15) Atlanta Falcons(Edge rush, DL, CB, OL, S) - James Pearce Jr Edge rush Tennessee - leaving this the same.
16) Arizona Cardinals(OL, WR, Edge rush, DL, CB) - Josh Simmons OT Ohio State - need to get some OL solidity here. Same as Mock #1
17) Cincinnati Bengals(Edge rush, S, LB, OL, CB) - Mykel Williams Edge rush Georgia - Same as last mock.
18) Seattle Seahawks(OL, WR, CB, S, DL) - Matthew Golden WR Texas - Same as last mock, have to replace Lockett and Metcalf.
19) Tampa Bay Buccaneers(LB, CB, Edge rush, S, OL) - Jihaad Campbell LB Alabama - lets get the best LB out there to fix their main need, well at least one of them. CB was a real thought here as well. Same as last mock.
20) Denver Broncos(RB, WR, CB, TE, DL) - Omarion Hampton RB North Carolina - Work horse back to support Bo. Same as last mock.
21) Pittsburgh Steelers(QB, RB, DL, WR, OL) - Jaxson Dart QB Ole Miss - I have changed my mind here. Yes they have major needs, and who knows what happens with T.J. Watt. However they have to try and find a long term answer at QB, and with some other teams probably going QB early 2nd or trading into late first, they have to strike now to get a really good solid kid to develop. Yes they may still sign Rodgers, or trade for Cousins. But they have to be ready post this year as well.
22) Los Angeles Chargers(TE, WR, DL, RB, Edge rush) - Colston Loveland TE Michigan - to me they need WR and TE to help the offense. Had they not signed Najee Harris RB also could have been the pick. This kid will help free up the WRs by covering the middle and giving them some solid catching skills. He can block also which Harbaugh loves. Same as last mock.
23) Green Bay Packers(CB, WR, Edge rush, DL, OL) - Will Johnson CB Michigan - need some back field help on the defense and this kid has real talent. keeping this the same - maybe we see a later round trade of Jaire Alexander from this.
24) Minnesota Vikings(CB, OL, S, LB, DL) - Tyler Booker OG Alabama - need some OL help at Guard, to protect Sam, and help the running game. Same as last mock.
25) Houston Texans(OL, WR, DL, S, CB) - Jayden Higgins WR Iowa State - need to get some pass catchers since Dell won't start the season. Same as last mock.
26) Los Angeles Rams(LB, CB, OL, TE, WR) - Luther Burden III WR Missouri - Need to replace Cooper Kupp, and this kid is great after catch. Same as last mock, but I would not be shocked to see these two inverted.
27) Baltimore Ravens(OL, CB, S, DL, Edge rush) - Maxwell Hairston CB Kentucky - same as last mock, and GM stated they want a CB and S out of this draft.
28) Detroit Lions(Edge rush, OL, S, DL, WR) - Jordan Birch Edge rush Oregon - Need some pass pressure to help the other side. Leave this the same.
29) Washington Commanders(Edge rush, CB, WR, S, OL) - Donovan Ezeiruaku Edge rush Boston College - need to get more defense in DC. Same as last mock
30) Buffalo Bills(CB, DL, WR, Edge rush, S) - Benjamin Morrison CB Notre Dame - need to back fill some losses in the secondary, and edge talent is disappearing. Same as last mock.
31) Kansas City Chiefs(DL, OL, Edge rush, S, WR) - Grey Zabel IOL North Dakota State - after seeing 4 continuing to get in and pressure the OL, they need some help there and this is a top OG play.
32) Philadelphia(S, DL, CB, Edge rush, OL) - Walter Nolen DT Ole Miss - Howie sits still and gets the target they wanted. Nice! This is same position, but better talent than last mock.
Now this all being said, I won't be shocked to see Philly and KC trade back for more picks in 2nd rd or later rds as some QB needy teams move up to snag Jaxson Dart. Or some other player. I just looked this over and I don't see any true safeties taken, so there is talent there some might go for.
