Patriots vs Indy: after poll

Indy won an exciting game but how much credit do you give them for that win? This is a private poll but you can always post your feelings. Was Indy the best team on the field that day or did the Pats just screw up??

I have no problem with what Bill tried to do. It was the surest fashion in which one of two thingswas gonna happen. He would either win without any doubt or make it easier to lose. He put his faith in his only true answer to Manning........Brady and his offense. Brady made the play and Faulk made the catch, but the bobble on the catch cost the spot, and the defense held. My vote above is that the Colts won the game. They (Manning) put the doubt in Bills head and caused the 4th down attempt.

End of the day Colts won. I believe that at one point they were down by 17 in the 4th. Coming back from that, even though Bill made a bad decision, forces me to give the credit to Indy.

Interesting.

So, the fact that said defense blew a big lead to this team isn't their fault? Or call them into question?

Indy won it. Yes NE made mistakes that hurt...but the fact is Indy took advantage...so they won it.

Colts, no question. Just because we have single play to criticize doesn't negate the rest of game and NE's failure to contain Manning.

Saying that NE should have won is as valid as saying the Bucs should have won. In both cases the Defenses didn't play strong enough to avoid losing their games.
