Patriots at Indianapolis...Revenge Time?

What's your thoughts?

Brady's dad is calling for 60 points from the Pats though he also stated a 1 point win would be good enough.

Fatheads on the TV screen are making a real effort to make this sound like the game is already won.

Do you think football players, coaches and owners really think this way or is this all just drama trumped up by a story hungry media?

If it IS real...that the Pats have been planning all year for this 1 single game of retribution and are planning to make a statement by annihilating the Colts then wouldn't the opposite be true also? That the Colts have been planning all year to recover some lost pride over the drubbing they took in the championship game?

I dunno. It's all silliness, really, though there is no doubt that emotion plays a large part in an athlete's performance.

I just don't see a high caliber organization like New England resorting to cheer leader techniques to inspire their club, however I wouldn't put it past the under achieving Colts.

Do you think this game is going to be the blow out that we are being manipulated to believe or is this just another game where the only concern is winning.

If I were a betting man, I would take the Colts + 9.5

I think Brady is totally the type of guy to have this game circled on his schedule. I also think Billy B is the type of coach to run it up and make a point.

Im all over the Pats in this game. My lineups are loaded with Patriots. I think Blount is a really nice play too. His stats against Indy are insane!

If this is, in fact, the case then I lose a ton of respect for both of them. Even the cheating has a certain aire of integrity compared to the sophomoric ritual of drum banging.

I've already called it in another post, but this WILL be a low scoring Colts win. This game is hyped up every year, granted it is usually a pretty good game every year. I just have a gut feeling.

Also, I live right smack dab in the middle of the Colts fandom. So, there's a lot of people that would be disappointed otherwise.

Wow, what the heck was Whalen doing snapping that ball... lol. I can only assume the guy in the QB position was yelling "hut!" to try to draw them offsides, but Whalen just reacted and snapped it... bwahahahaha

One of the most insane plays I've seen.

I remember watching Notre Dame use that formation on every extra point just to see if they can catch them off guard. I never actually saw them get anyone though as they would always motion the the normal extra point.

I think this was during the Ty Willingham era.

When I attended Syracuse they used that on extra points. I don't remember them ever "catching" anyone, so they'd alway roll back into normal formation and kick the PAT.
