Adam 'Pacman' Jones agrees to one-year deal with the CFL Winnipeg Blue Bombers - ESPN

Cornerback Adam Jones, released by the Dallas Cowboys in February, has agreed to a one-year deal with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the CFL, according to a SI.com report.

"It'll be a good experience for me to get back in game shape and compete and play football, which I like to do," Jones said, according to SI.com. "I'm real happy for the opportunity that's been given to me. Of course it's disappointing to me to not be playing in the NFL. But things happen and you have to adjust."

Jones, 25, chose the CFL over the inaugural United Football League, Jones' agents told SI.com. One of the factors was money -- contract details were not immediately known -- but Jones also will be able to play on both sides of the ball in the CFL, which still has 10 weeks remaining in its season. The four teams in the UFL will be playing a six-game schedule beginning in October.

Now he can possibly have felonies in not one but two Country's as i'm sure it wont take him but one or two night's on the town clubbing.

Pacman has the talent to play in the NFL except he cant seem to stay out of trouble, will Canada be any different, dont think so.

There are also some rumours floating around up here that Charles Rodgers is coming to Winnepeg as well

The Canadian Press reports free-agent WR Charles Rogers (Lions) is ineligible to play in the Canadian Football League because he is currently under suspension from the NFL

The "Ricky Williams" rule. Under suspension in the NFL, = not eligable for the CFL. I never knew Rogers was under suspension

Yea I didn't know either.

TSN Story on Rogers
Rogers only appeared in 15 career games with Detroit due to injuries and a positive drug test. He was arrested in September 2008 and charged with assault and battery of a female acquaintance but the charges were eventually dropped.
In December 2008, the six-foot-three, 220-pound Rogers was sentenced to attend sobriety court or face jail time after violating his probation. In March, he was jailed for violating probation.
