more likely? by the numbers, yes, it IS more likely that the pats, 9ers, giants, ravens, or texans wins than the packers repeat.

I think today's game between SF and NO was very bad for Green Bay. Not only is SF now waiting for them in the next round, but they were already the team best built to conquer Lambeau. Now they have all the confidence in the world! They just beat a team that is as near of a copy to GB as possible in the NFL.

All that being said, GB still needs to deal with a NYG team that is playing as well as anyone at the right time of year. If they can run the ball as effectively as they did vs ATL, this game could be much closer than the spread indicates.

Oh, and then there is also some guy named Brady who is likely to be waiting for them in the Superbowl. So they just need to make it out of the way of the massive rolling rock, and then escape the pit of snakes, only to have to remember to close their eyes so their faces don't melt off when Billichek opens up the Ark in Indy.

Aaron Rodgers is pretty good, but he's no Dr. Jones. I'm betting the field.

If Green Bay plays the 49ers and turns the ball over 5 times they'll get beat.
Great point. That was the deciding factor and something unusual for NO (to have 5 turnovers). Not taking anything away from the 49ers because they forced some of those, but not all were forced is what I'm getting at.
That is the only way for Niners to have a chance with GB and that is to be into the positive by atleast 3 I would say in the turnover differential.
I think the 49ers are a great story this year with a great coach but they don't match up well when both teams play at there best.

Initially called Giants ball but replay reverses that call and the Packers get a break. Packer ball on the 21.
