The Eagles will NEVER win a Super Bowl as long as that Brian Westbrook maintains this "all about me" mentality and skips out on these workouts. He is simply killing that team! No wonder poor Terrell Owens couldn't get a Super Bowl ring with them.

:nono:
Philly will never win a superbowl until the friggen head coach learns it is really okay to run, and run, and run and win games without throwing 50 friggen passes.:D

  • -- Chris Johnson Working on his Own with a Trainer --
    Thu Apr 2, 2009 --from FFMastermind.com
  • The Nashville Tennessean reports Titans RB Titans Chris Johnson is far away from his teammates working out at Baptist Sports Park, but said he's not resting on the laurels of his Pro Bowl rookie season. He's not kicking back on the beach or spending long days at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla., where he's working out on his own with a personal trainer. Titans OC Mike Heimerdinger and other coaches are OK with the arrangement, according to Johnson. “Let me say this: I have talked to them, and me and Heimerdinger have an understanding that he is not really worried — I don't say he is not worried; he would love for me to be there — but his main goal is when I come there not to come in out of shape. If I come in there in shape, everything is good,'' he said Thursday. “I am sure there are players who probably feel like I should be there and I shouldn't be in Orlando. A lot of people probably think I am down here doing whatever, but I am really down here working. … And I am working out hard.''

Wilson yet to report

The News
Adrian Wilson is yet to report to the Cardinals' voluntary workout program, according to the Arizona Republic.

Our View
Wilson covets a new contract with the club, and is making a statement by not attending. He is the leader of the Cardinals' secondary, and should be a priority to get a new deal done.

The Florida Times-Union reports the Jaguars began their offseason conditioning program on Monday, but RB Maurice Jones-Drew didn't attend the opening session, which wasn't mandatory. While it's unclear why Jones-Drew didn't participate, his absence appears to clash with HC Jack Del Rio's new stance on offseason conditioning. In the past, Del Rio allowed some players to train off site on their own, instead of with the team. But in the aftermath of a disastrous 5-11 campaign in 2008, Del Rio took a decidedly different position. "Everybody who wants to be a Jaguar will be in Jacksonville working out with the team," Del Rio said in a Dec. 30 news conference. Asked about Jones-Drew's absence Monday, Del Rio offered little in terms of an explanation, saying in a text message that, "Everyone was accounted for." That could mean Jones-Drew had already informed the club that he planned to miss Monday's session that included running backs, tight ends, linebackers and specialists. Jones-Drew's agent, Adisa Bakari, didn't return calls or text messages seeking comment.
