Orton To Start For Kansas City

Assuming that the dislocated finger on his throwing hand heals, Kyle Orton will start at QB for the Chiefs vs Green Bay.

It's starting to look like Haley's departure was due in part to his sticking with Palko.

Not only is interim head coach Romeo Crennel starting Orton but if Kyle is unable to play Ricky Stanzi will start.
 
I would love to see Locker play a whole game against that Ind D.
Not looking likely though. ( in reference to young QB's)
 
As a Chiefs fan and a student of "expect the unexpected", I think Orton starts, blows it up, and the Chiefs hand Green Bay their first loss.

This is in no way a testimony to the talent of either team.

It just makes sense in a lot of ways.
 
The season is over and the Chiefs need to see what they have in Stanzi. Hopefully he isnt a trainwreck like Croyle was.
 
I agree. They need to see what Stnazi has and if he's worth keeping around next and giving him a shot. The season is over for them so theirs nothing to lose but alot to gain. They already know what Orton can do and he's hurt and it's not like he'll ever take a team to greatness anyway.

I think this one deserves the "RC Award" for 2011.

It totally trumps the Az beats Dallas longshot.
