i agree that the boys can't afford him, especially if what i hear about the potential cba is true--i.e., that dallas is already over cap and will have problems as is.
i'd love the eagles to grab him but even though the $$$ is there i'm not sure they'll want to pay that much for a 30 year old. it's not their history :dunno:
How old was Samuel when they gave him the big contract? Had to still be in his 20's right?
samuel was 27 in 2008 when they signed him to a six year contract
Its a dire need though. They need a cover guy on the otherside so they can do their normal blitz packages. there is a story floating today, where they plan to use more zone, and change how they run the line, with more pressure up the middle, but I don't buy it. Got to have a guy on the other side to play man to man.Putting Asomugha across from Samuel would be a nice duo, but that's a lot of money to tie up in the CB position.
