well good thing this thread wasn't titled oldest rivalry. Its titled Best rivalry. And with people being all over the states or wherever, opinions will vary to what they grew up with or accustomed to.

I agree with most of your points (I'd be stupid not to, lol) but I've got to add my two cents again. The Saints/Falcons were not contenders in yesteryear (do you have to be contenders to have a heated rilvary?) but there are none that are more heated than these two. I've been in the Dome for several of these games and I know well the friction that takes place. Add in the fact that the Falcons have made a living out of picking off Saints FA's over the years and you'll understand some of the emotions.

Currently, Ravens/Steelers is the correct answer to me. Bears/Packers may be #2 after this weeks' game. Coming from CA I don't have a horse in this race other than what I consider can't miss TV and the bloodbath of Baltimore and Pittsburgh certainly qualifies.

Lions vs Chicago has always been a good one. Even when the Lions were awful, they still played the Bears hard every time they played.
