Not injury related but simply a remarkable story named Frank Gore.

From CBS Sports.com

Frank Gore did more than become the fourth man in NFL history to rush for over 15,000 career rushing yards in Sunday's 16-10 loss to the New England Patriots. Gore, by virtue of his 109-yard rushing performance, became the first 36-year-old in nearly 41 years to rush for over 100 yards in an NFL game.

  • Pete Carroll said Rashaad Penny (hamstring) "will be ready to go" for Week 4 against the Rams.
Someone should clue Pistol Pete in to what week is coming up.

Darnold has been cleared for non-contact drills.

TK Hockenson will avoid IR after his failed attempt at the high hurdles but there is no estimated time table for his return to action.

Adams & Jamaal both missed practice today.

Kyle Allen will start at QB for the Panthers this week.

  • ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Mitchell Trubisky's MRI revealed a dislocated left shoulder and "slight" labrum tear.
Trubisky reportedly doesn't need surgery and will be back "sooner rather than later." He'll make the trip to London in Week 5, but with a bye week scheduled for the ensuing Sunday, he can be unofficially ruled out ahead of time. A spot-start against the Raiders isn't the worst position to be in for Chase Daniel, who engineered points on 4 of Chicago's first 5 drives off the bench in Sunday's win. Trubisky should be able to return for Week 7.

  • Coach Kliff Kingsbury said that Christian Kirk suffered an ankle injury in Week 4.
Kingsbury declined to give any further details and said there would be more information Wednesday. Kirk hasn't found the end zone yet this season, but he's still been one of the league's most-targeted WRs through four weeks. Overall, only Keenan Allen (48 targets), Cooper Kupp (46), Michael Thomas (42), Sammy Watkins (38) and Robert Woods (38) have more targets this season than Kirk (37). The Cardinals are set up well in a prime bounce-back spot against the Bengals in Week 5.

Here is an ongoing summary per PFT and Footballguys on injury status:

Chicago - Mitch Trubisky - partially torn labram and partially separated shoulder(non throwing arm) - looking to be out past Bye week
Carolina - Cam out this week, and now some question on if he comes back at all this year - Allen will be starting Qb this week
NY Jets - Sam Darnold status in limbo - has been given permission to participate in non-contact - but not expected to be able to play
Detroit - T. J. Hockenson in concussion protocol - the shoulder is not an issue, he just needs to clear the protocol
LA Chargers - Melvin Ingram Lb has hammy pull - expected to miss a few weeks
NY Jets - Demaryius Thomas - status uncertain with knee and hamstring issues
Buffalo - Josh Allen in concussion protocol iffy for this week
Washington will not commit to a starting Qb - don't be surprised if you see Colt McCoy
Cleveland - Wr Jarvis Landry in concussion protocol
San Francisco - Rb Tevin Coleman starting to catch balls and make quick cuts - may be available soon
Denver - Lb Bradley Chubb out rest of year with torn ACL
Seattle - Rb Rashaad Penny expected to go this week
Green Bay - Jamaal Williams Rb did not practice Monday and most feel he will not play this week
Green Bay - Davante Adams - sprained toe - Turf Toe did not practice - some were optimistic on this, but not practicing may be telling
Cincinnati - A. J. Green not expected to play either week 5 or 6.

  • Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said he "won't rule out" Michael Gallup (knee) for Week 5 against the Packers.
"I’m not ruling it out Sunday," Jones said on Gallup's pending return. "We got to see how he does [in practice this week]." It's unlikely this happens, but Gallup's initial timetable following a meniscus trim was only 2-4 weeks. The second-year pro led the Cowboys in targets (15) before going under the knife after Week 2's win and both Randall Cobb and Devin Smith have failed as serviceable replacements in that time. Gallup's presence, even at less than 100 percent, would be an obvious plus against Green Bay's stingy secondary.
