NFL Trying to finds ways to improve Pro Bowl

Is it even possible. Ideas are floating around of having captains and draft like kids on a playground. Others are rewards for certain plays which reminds me of NBA style of play in their all-star game. The Pro Bowl is the most watched All-Star game of the 4 major sports (have no idea why). The thing that will never change is the player's playing time expectancy in the NFL and it just can't work with the risk to injury. I would imagine that most coaches cringe at the thought of their star players playing a game with such little meaning to the organization. Just leave it like it is which is a time for players to have a fun get together or get rid of the game all together and keep the ballots. You can't make it what we all want it to be which would be a "pickup" game like suggested where players give it everything they got. The one thing they don't want to change is the time the game is played which is the first thing i would change but then again we are back to main reasons that it could never work the way it should be.
It's like getting WWE when you ordered UFC
no offense to you wrestling fans

The timing is STUPID.

The game is STUPID.

I can see how it might be an honor for a young player to be named to the Pro-Bowl, but when so many players decline the invitation it sorta weakens the broth.
