Per reports they have NOT agreed to Zimmer and are once again reaching out to Rex Ryan

I was listening to that. I am sorry, but am I the ONLY sane person here. If you are that close to winning and you want a QB to push you over, why trade and lose picks and not go all out and sign Kirk Cousins? I would think of 3-4 teams that if they had Cousins would be 1000 percent better than they were - Denver, Pittsburgh, Tampa Bay, hell even the Jets

For a short term window I agree. The big question is around whether the bears and other teams feel like Fields will continue to improve and develop to a top 10ish qb.

PHI - Team has given Haasan Reddick permission to seek a trade - He says he did not request a trade, chances are he wants a new deal, team is cap tight so looking to see if there is value out there or not.
NFL - announced 321 participants coming this year for combine in Indy
CIN - expectation is team will use Franchise tag on Tee Higgins

The Chicago Bears released veteran safety Eddie Jackson and guard Cody Whitehair, the team announced Thursday.

With the moves, the Bears save approximately $21.5 million against the 2024 salary cap.
