SF - Per reports Brock Purdy is trying to avoid Tommy John surgery on his UCL, instead going with some kind of bracing surgery that will keep him out 6 months. Decision still has not been made, but if he did get Tommy John, he would miss the whole year probably.

What I was trying to figure out is how do you come out of the darkness retreat into the light. Seems like a tough adjustment for your eyes after four days in darkness.

In any case my prediction is he emerges from his four day retreat with the enlightenment he is going to play and collect his 50 mil from someone. Perhaps the Packers or maybe the Jets.

Derek Carr has informed Saints that he will accept NO trade to any team. He is going to stick it to the Raiders and make them cut him. Good for him, he will be FA and have full control of his own future. On Feb. 15th the raiders will have to pay Carr $40.4 million, so expect his release before then.
