The Jets traded rookie PR/KR/CB Brandon Codrington, who impressed in the preseason with averages of 13.8 and 37.5 yards on punts and kickoffs, respectively. The biggest surprise was where they sent him -- the Bills. Why help a division rival address a need? The Jets received a 2026 sixth-round pick for Codrington and a 2026 seventh-rounder. It was the first trade between the Jets and Bills since 1987
