BUT....valuable in a professional sports league HAS to equate to wins.......how else are they valuable if they do not help a team win? Stats are not valuable to NFL teams.....WINS are. So if someone is simply racking up stats yet it does not equal wins for his team I have a hard time believing they are really that valuable. This MVP stuff always agrivates me.....the MVP stands for MOST VALUABLE PLAYER....not most valuable player on a winning team. And for the record this isn't a pro Foster post...just a general thought...and I know no one will ever whisper his name but the year J. Charles had should not be ignored...being less than an inch from breaking Jim Browns record deserves its own merits.
 totally agree here. This MVP stuff always agrivates me.....the MVP stands for MOST VALUABLE PLAYER....not most valuable player on a winning team.
