Any question on the Outlaw world to who it is? I think it's Brady hands down.

how valuable can a player be on a 6 win team? OPY.....maybe I consider Foster. MVP....not a chance.

But yeah, Brady is going to run away with that thing.

Foster would be my pick for MVP IF he had of lead his team into the playoffs. Since he didn't do that I have him as my number 2.

My post disappeared upon entry????

I say Vick and Brady are 1 and 2. I would say Vick easily had he not been taking the abuse that wouldn't be tolerated if they were hits on Brady. Tom Beiber brady gets pampered!

On the surface RC I'd agree with the Vick at the top but I can't give the MVP to a player that played as little as he did.

This MVP stuff always agrivates me.....the MVP stands for MOST VALUABLE PLAYER....not most valuable player on a winning team. And for the record this isn't a pro Foster post...just a general thought...and I know no one will ever whisper his name but the year J. Charles had should not be ignored...being less than an inch from breaking Jim Browns record deserves its own merits.

I'm back :)
i think it's brady, but i agree with RC that an argument can be made for vick. vick has taken a pounding with a mediocre team and led it to the playoffs, sometimes by force of will alone (see giants, ny, week 15)

BUT....valuable in a professional sports league HAS to equate to wins.......how else are they valuable if they do not help a team win? Stats are not valuable to NFL teams.....WINS are. So if someone is simply racking up stats yet it does not equal wins for his team I have a hard time believing they are really that valuable.

Foster had a great offensive year and when talking about offensive player of the year, I give him great consideration. However all his yards led his team to a 6 win season....that is just the facts. That is not very valuable if you ask me.

The name you tossed out there, Jaamal Charles, I would vote him for MVP before I would vote for Foster. IMO, he was of more VALUE to his team and led them to something of VALUE which is wins. Vick is who I would vote #2, again, I think he changed the dynamics of that team and is the reason they are in position to make a run in the playoffs. Rodgers is another one I would have on a ballot over Foster.

I know there is a separate award, but on the defensive side of the ball I think I would lean to James Harrison over Clay Matthews and Ray Lewis.
