Impending free-agent WR A.J. Green (ankle) made it clear Monday, Dec. 30, that his preference is to remain with the Cincinnati Bengals.'If something should get done, then I'm here. I want to be here. I think they want me here. We'll see what happens,' Green told reporters.

I don't believe this for a moment. He refused to play this year so he wouldn't get hurt. They refused to pay him until he played. They just kept it under wraps since he's been such a icon there. This statement was to try to save face with fans he let down. He will latch on with another squad next year.

The Eagles have signed running back Elijah Holyfield, son of heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield. He was on Carolina's practice squad this year.

My boxing history ain't what it should be
