The New York Post doesn't expect Demaryius Thomas to play this week.

It sounds like he'll miss multiple more weeks.

  • NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports the Eagles are "holding out hope" that Alshon Jeffery (calf) can play this week.
The same goes for Dallas Goedert. Jeffery still looks like a longshot to play, but he won't be an early rule out. With DeSean Jackson (groin) sidelined and potentially Jeffery, Nelson Agholor, J.J. Arecega-Whiteside, and Mack Hollins are in line for increased targets.

DeSean Jackson is OUT for this week.

Tevin Coleman (ankle) has shed his walking boot. Coleman is out for Week 3.

Singletary missed practice again today.
Tyler Kroft did not practice.
Alshon did not practice and is the longest of long shots to play but hey, it could happen. When pigs fly that is.

  • 94WIP.com's Eliot Shorr-Parks reports there's a "pretty good chance" Alshon Jeffery (calf, questionable) suits up Sunday against the Lions.
Shorr-Parks added that he also believes Dallas Goedert (calf, questionable) has a pretty good chance to suit up. Jeffery didn't practice all week. It seems unlikely he'd play a large portion of the offense's snaps if active. J.J. Arcega-Whiteside would see the biggest boost in snaps if Jeffery is ultimately sidelined. Mack Hollins is locked into 3-WR sets with DeSean Jackson (abdomen) already ruled out.

I know that I can not trust him to use in my league this week.

  • James Conner (knee) is good to go for the Steelers' Week 3 matchup against the 49ers.
  • Keenan Allen (knee) wasn't listed on the Chargers' final injury report.
  • Mark Andrews (foot) is questionable for the Ravens' Week 3 matchup against the Chiefs, but is expected to play.
Andrews was also listed as questionable in Week 2, but played a career-high 55% snaps. He's locked in as a high-end TE1 as a lead option in the Ravens' suddenly-explosive pass offense. Andrews has caught 16-of-17 targets for 220 yards and a pair of touchdowns this season while continuing to demonstrate elite ability after the catch.

  • Tyrell Williams (hip) wasn't listed on the Chargers' final injury report.
Williams will play through the pain and suit up for the Chargers' Week 3 matchup against the Vikings. Still, this is a brutal road spot that will likely feature a shadow date for Williams against All-Pro CB Xavier Rhodes. Williams has a solid target floor as the Raiders' No. 1 WR, but he's best approached as more of a low-floor WR3 in this matchup.

  • RB Josh Jacobs (hip, illness) wasn't listed on the team's final injury report.
  • Marlon Mack (calf) is questionable for the Colts' Week 3 matchup against the Falcons.
Mack didn't practice until Friday this week. He's tentatively expected to suit up Sunday, but limited snaps are a real possibility considering he was spotted carrying (not wearing) a walking boot earlier in the week. Jordan Wilkins is the best candidate to see additional early-down snaps if Mack is at less than 100% by Sunday, while Nyheim Hines could also see plenty of work against a Falcons defense that is designed to give opposing RBs plenty of opportunities in the pass game.

    • Rashaad Penny (hamstring) is questionable for the Seahawks' Week 3 matchup against the Saints.
Penny was a late addition to the report after apparently suffering a hamstring injury in practice Friday. His absence would result in a workhorse role for Chris Carson ahead of the Seahawks' home matchup against the Saints. C.J. Prosise could also see more snaps if Penny is ultimately sidelined.

3. WAS - TE Jordan Reed could miss several more games

Source: NBC Sports Washington - JP Finlay

Washington Redskins TE Jordan Reed (concussion) could be 'weeks' away from a return to the field, according to a source Saturday, Sept. 21. Reed hasn't played yet this season and has already been ruled out for Monday Night Football against the Chicago Bears.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Reed is dealing with his seventh know concussion. It's a possibility that he never plays football again, and that could be the best thing for his long-term health.
