So I have no inside information but I'm going to bet that Brees tore some ligaments in his thumb. Or broke it. Whatever it was it was bad enough for him to go see a specialist in Los Angeles after the game today and say that he is personally concerned about the severity.

Edit: Going to see Dr Steve Shin which most are saying is a expectation of surgery. Shin has operated on Mike Trout and Chris Paul among others. One of the best in the world

Big Ben missed most of his game with elbow issue. Reports are starting to circulate he had some swelling prior to game and then aggravated it during the game. No idea of what issue is, or if he will miss more time.
