Confirmed Sanders has torn Achilles and was placed on IR
So apparently Alex Smith has a major infection in his leg and has already undergone multiple surgeries to help combat the infection. It's not getting better so they're going to have to go in and do more and you can be looking at a partial reconstruction of his leg altogether. It's looking more and more likely his playing days are over.
