To update, the 2022 pick can raise to a 1st round pick if he plays 77% of offensive snaps or Colts make playoffs in 2021. So better haul than I ever thought they would get.

Just because I can....

Trent Richardson is back!!!

The former All-American Crimson Tide RB and No. 3 overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft has been signed by a professional football team… in Mexico.

Richardson is joining the fourth different league since 2016, signing with the Caudillos de Chihuahua of Futbol Americano de Mexico.

Yep. Mexican american football.

Sacrilegious ain't it?

MIA - there seems to be some issue with Cb Xavien Howard - per reports there was a shooting at the home of his agent, and Howard may have been involved somehow. Not too much more is known.

NFL - FT window opens today and runs til March 9th
N.O. - Reports are Brees is still deciding on next steps - most feel he will retire
NFL - is trying to move to a 17 game season this year with 3 pre-season games
TEN - last year's first round pick Isaiah Wilson says he is done with Tennessee...
Court documents tie Jeff Bezos to potentially being a minority owner of WFT
DAL - Cowboys want to complete a long term deal before March 9th with Dak, however, most reports show no movement at all in talks
SEA - K.J. Wright Lb wants to stay and play for Seattle - but won't take a home town discount in FA to do so
GB - Jamaal Williams Rb also wants to remain a Packer
HOU - re-signing Rb Dontrell Hilliard
Teams believe that any trade for Russell Wilson will cost at least 3 first round picks
CIN - coming out with updated uniforms, but the helmet and stripes will remain the same

PIT - Ben Roethlisberger and Art Rooney II the team President met today to talk about Ben's future with the team. Per reports the meeting went well, but no information on if a salary level was agreed to. Basically, Ben has to take a pay cut to stay, as he is a $41 million + cap hit at current contract.

IND - four teams have reached out to IND about OL Nick Easton
MIA - seems there is mutual interest from Miami and Rb Aaron Jones - would be a great fit
Wr Dez Bryant has stated he wants to play 2 more years but not with Baltimore - says it was not a good fit
PIT - So Big Ben and Rooney met yesterday, by all reports things went well, Agent of Ben stated team wants Ben back and all that is needed is some slight contract work - gotta love Agent speak. I shared this before .... Big Ben costs $41.3 million against the cap this year. They can save over $22 million if they cut him. Steelers are really tight on cap, and have no money for any of their key FAs not the least of which is Bud Dupree. I just don't see Ben taking over $22 million in salary cut.
WFT - expected to have a new name post the 2021 season. Also some interesting talk coming from Qb Alex Smith. Per Smith, the team really wasn't wanting him, had planned to put him on IR, but he was healthy enough to play. Per reports Smith still wants to play, but not sure its with WFT. Team is concerned of the PR hit if they release Smith, as he was pretty successful(5-1) in starts.
DEN - so something is up with Von Miller. Word was released last month of a criminal investigation about Miller was opened in Parker CO. To date no charges have been filed, but the investigation has been given to the 18th Judicial District Court to decide if any charges will be filed. To date no one seems to know what this is about.
SF - has started talks with coming FA FB Kyle Juszczyk
NFL - had they not gotten a new CBA or the deal they signed last July, the cap max this year would have been $160 million - that would have killed many teams
DEN - expecting to FT S Justin Simmons again

furthering this story, Team President Rooney agreed somewhat with the above, they do want Ben back and Ben wants to come back, but.... They do have to work out the contract. Can't wait to see how this goes. I also wonder if Pittsburgh looks Qb in this draft as well.

Per reports JJ Watt has received multiple offers already
DEN - release DT Jurrell Casey

LVR - the trade market for Marcus Mariota is drying up, his contract is a bit pricey.

Brady has some kind of knee procedure and is out until June.

A friend says once it comes out how hurt his knee was it will only add to the legend of this season
