Never bench your studs....

Do you guys buy into that? How many of you when facing a lineup decision make the choice to play the stud over a 2nd tier player even though the matchup seems much more favorable?

I was thinking about benching CJ2K this past week because he was facing the Steelers but decided against and he amassed 30 yards. Although, he did break a long one for a TD that was called back but still..

He can break one at anytime or get on one of those rolls so you never nbench him while his legs work. You drop a tier or 2 down, and I will consider benching a guy like Mendy or greene because of a rough matchup for a guy like sproles, when mathews is down. Let's just say I wouldn't bench one of the big 5 or 6 though.

I agree with RC.

I dont always agree with the cheatsheet 100% but I agree I would rather play Tolbert (WW add from last week) over Benson (probably 2nd-3rd round pick) this week just because the match up.

I would never bench CJ2K though, he broke a 80 yard TD last week called back for holding, so he was close to cracking 100+ yards with a TD again. I would never bench the top 4 RB, or my top 5-6 WR regardless of matchup, they are that high because they can break it anytime.

There are a few I would never sit CJ being one of them. but when you get into rb2 and wr2 or flex thats where I play the matchups
