NFL Impact

After 3 mediocre years at Georgia with a great college QB throwing him the rock, Mohammed finally had his "breakout" year this past season. Down the stretch, he was a dominant force for the Bulldogs, capping his last game against Georgia Tech with an 11 catch, 180 yard, 3 TD performance that made you wonder where the heck THAT player had been all these years. What bothers me about Mohammed are the usually pedestrian numbers, long disappearances, and lack of better production with a good QB throwing to him all those years. Mohammed needs to have a good combine and will need to learn consistency at the next level. I see him as a second day selection who, with work, will turn out as a high #3 WR at the next level. What do you think of Mohammed? Discuss.

NFL Draft

I am fascinated with Mohammad Massaquoi way of playing. He is focus, smart, and a real team player. I would like to see him go a little high in the draft. This is a player who has great potential.

Mass is an interesting mid round prospect. I think he could develop long term and had a good frame. Decent 3-4round selection.

He could have a great career. He could end up average, hard to tell. However, if he follows the lead of another Georgia WR and works hard, he will make the team getting him very happy.

If he drops he could be a very nice value pick for a team. Could see him eventually as a teams #2 (or better yet as their #3) Wr and get enough action to make him a factor.

How quickly do you see him adjusting to the NFL?

There in lies the problem. I believe we have a NFL Impact statement on Mass somewhere in this forum.

Here it is. Dust it off a bit and see what you think.

Who was this QB you think so highly of tossing him the rock? :)

I would agree with you that his value lies with a later (2nd day) pick. He started up closer to the top of my WR rankings after the season but has slowly and consistently slid. Didn't he have to back out of one of those post-season bowl games (Senior ???)

You know....I never heard anything else about the VJax thing in the off season.

MoMass cant be any worse. Certainly have a better attitude.

I said good, not great :) Id better have undervalued him for $70 something million dollars

I thought he started practicing but mid week had to back out because of some injury (nothing major) related reason.

Think I read something about this on the Draftguys website but can't remember if it was Senior, Shrine or some other game. Seems he showed initial improvement but then got dinged.
