Mid year fantasy check

How is everyone doing?

Me so-so. Glass half full though.

6-2 in one league 3-5 in my other two. On a good note doing well in the league I care most about and Gurley and Antonio Brown in one of my 3-5 leagues so stand a decent chance of a rally. If I can win one of the three leagues I can turn a profit.

Down $8 in daily after a horrendous week this weekend due to some injuries and disappointing Dalton and Woodhead performances. Well that and got cute and tried the NBA fantasy contest that cost me a little too. Got a little too comfortable and risked a bit more than I usually do and paid the price. My goal at a minimum was to make it through the season on the $25 deposit. Down to $17 from $38 so going to take some good picks to bring it back up. If it gets to 0.00 I'm probably out till next year.

Opened my $$ league 0-2 and have 5 straight wins since then. It'll be six if TY gets 4 points tonight.

Opened my friendly league 0-2. Leading my division with a 5-3 record there but hurting after losing Foster, L Bell, and Khiry. Will be needing a lot from AJ, Hopkins, Jeffery, Olsen, Palmer, and Ivory there to maintain my lead.

4-4 after an 0-3 start. Lost Foster last week and then Forte this week. Not good.

5-3 after a 5-0 start. Can't seem to find a win now. Lost Foster in this league too.

4-4 in my last league. Total fake team. I get all my points from Gronk and Julio.

I suck at this.

Lacy and Cobb sunk one of my teams. Everyone is panicked about the Broncos offense and rightfully so but why is no one questioning the Packer offense. Those receivers look ordinary. I always thought Jordy was a system guy. A good receiver who was great because he had Rodgers throwing to him. Now thinking I underestimated him.

And of course the running game looks terrible.

My glass is quickly becoming completely empty. Just to cut to the chase- my one league that I felt had the most solid starting roster I have ever had is quickly heading towards the cliff. After the draft I was stoked at the potential of this team:

RB: Leveon Bell, Arian Foster, Todd Gurley, Shady McCoy, Isaiah Crowell
WR: DeAndre Hopkins, Keenan Allen, Pierre Garcon, Devonte Adams, Victor Cruz
QB: Drew Brees, Carson Palmer
TE: Kyle Rudolf

So far I have lost Bell, Foster and Allen for the year. Devonte Adams has been garbage. Victor Cruz has not seen the field yet, and Rudolf is a bust.

Because of the various players missing the beginning I was expecting to start out slow and I was 0-3. Then as they started playing I gained steam and have won 5 in a row with the highest score every week. But the way they are dropping like flies I may not make it to the end of the season with anything that resembles what I started out with.

Only in one league and doing OK.

Managed to avoid the injury parade so far but Brandon Marshall has me worried and Hopkins is on bye so I'm a little concerned.

Might lose one this week.
