WOW, what the hell now? Does the game to to NY now? Or do they just play on the Gophers feild? What about all the fans that came from out of town to see the game and are staying in hotels and have to work on monday?

They say the game could be played at the Gophers stadium, but Schefter pointed out the Giants didn't bring outdoor gear. Sooo dunno

On a fantasy football standpoint, how does this effect people who own and start AP?

I am more worried about if AP's stats would even count??? Cause yahoo & most sites usually update the winners early tuesday?? What happens if this game is happening on Tuesday now? Would the websites be smart enough to count his stats towards week 14?

Anybody know? I tried to look up something on it, cant find anything. This has happened before in ice hockey leagues, and we have stats from a certain day to another day, so if you a day in that week gets cancelled, you just dont get any stats from that game. But no idea what happens in FF!!

You can on any website. (Well, I shouldnt say that, but I am fairly sure you can).

But is that what people are doing? I mean, in ice hockey leagues (where we have had this happen), if your game is cancelled cause of snow, tough luck buddy!!! Thats part of your "GM planning" and you have to find a counter to it. Of course, a lot easier in hockey to avoid 1 game and recover.

Somebody in one of my leagues mentioned this, but I think the Giants held an "away" game at home against the saints when their dome was hit? Cant the NFL do the same?

It sucks for those Vikings' fans who won't be able to use their tickets. Will they get their money back? It also sucks for the vendors that work the games. They won't have any income this week.

But great for the contractors who are now hired to fix the dome.....

It sucks all the way around, but this is making the best of a bad situation IMO.

I don't understand who in the their right mind built a stadium in MN with a teflon inflatable roof in the first place :headscratch:

It was "the thing" to do in the early 1980's when it was built. I never liked the place as a baseball stadium, but it isn't a bad place to watch football, or so I'm told.
Another reason the Vikes might leave Minnesota, though.
