Quarterback Danny O'Brien is among three more players that have decided to leave Maryland.
As the number of players that have decided to leave since the end of last season continues to swell, coach Randy Edsall is losing a QB that started 17 games the last two years.

Twenty-five players have left the team since coach Randy Edsall was hired in January 2011. Thirteen players with remaining eligibility departed the program before the season started. Twelve more with eligibility have opted to transfer since the team went 2-10.

Ive been following this rather disturbing trend since the end of the season.

Only thing I can think of is the massive difference in styles of Friedgen and Edsall.

Massive must be an understatement. I can't recall seeing defections like this from a program especially over a coaching change.

FOOTBALL!
I blame the uniforms.:yellowlaugh:

Maryland is in a deep hole. Will the fan base be patient enough for a 4 year rebuild?
