(Rotoworld) Marcedes Lewis might hold out of camp in the hopes of a securing a long-term contract, according to the Florida Times-Union. Analysis: Lewis was slapped with the franchise tag prior to the lockout and quickly expressed his displeasure at playing on a one-year tender even though it will be for at least $7 million. Considering he's coming off a 10-touchdown season, it's no surprise he wants to cash in now. Still, Jags GM Gene Smith is already on the record saying he wants to lock up Lewis to an extension. A holdout would just expedite the process.

And just what has he done up until last year???? The track record is he was just a TE like the rest of the pack until he had one great season.
