LSU vs. Washington pics

FOOTBALL!
Sorry for the delay, the short week made it tough to get around to posting these. It was a fun game to be at. Bowl atmosphere & really loud. LSU fans were great. Huskies are much improved now that they have competent coaching.

After the first score:

LSU fans traveled really well. Many of them spent a week or two taking in the whole Seattle experience, took treks to Canada, Oregon, cruises to Alaska, etc. They took over downtown for a few days & drank some establishments out of certain varieties of beer. Many also rented boats or took a charter & "sailgated" to the game:

Loved the pictures, thanks for sharing them. You might say that I bleed purple and gold. The shot with the lake was incredible.

Here is a better shot of the lake. It was taken a few years ago at the Boise State game. Bill Gate's house is visible. Just look across the lake to the skyscrapers of Bellevue & it is just below the highest two along the lake:

Mt. Rainier was visible, but it didn't show up well in the pic. The Mt. is towards the right of the pic, but not very visible:

Mt. Ranier is awesome. I spent some time at Fort Lewis w/ my aunt and uncle when I was about 12 years old and had a great view of it from their backyard.

Seahawks coach Jim Mora suckered Roger Goodell into climbing Rainier a few months ago. 14,411 ft. may sound tame compared to some the world's great peaks, but Rainier is 30 miles away from sea level. I live in Olympia, & you can see Rainier from almost everywhere that doesn't have too many tall trees in the way. I like the view of Rainier, but I rather have a view of the Olympics. I took this pic of the Olympics over Shelton yesterday morning:
